Health Dimensions Group (HDG) has hired Karyn Price as Safety Manager, supporting both its managed health care facilities and the HDG corporate office.

In this role, she will be responsible for coordinating the medical management of workers’ compensation cases, screening claims, reviewing incident investigations, coordinating modified-duty strategies, providing safety and risk management training and assisting in conducting routine evaluations of the workers’ compensation management and safety programs.

Karyn comes to HDG with more than 20 years of experience in safety and risk management. Most recently she served as the Occupational Safety Specialist for Securian Financial Group. Prior to that she was the Area Safety Manager for Stericycle, Inc. and the Director of Risk Control for Hays Company where she identified and evaluated healthcare loss exposures and implemented proactive processes that reduced the cost of risk while improving the safety culture for her clients.

Karyn holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elective Studies in Safety and Health and is a graduate of St. Cloud State University. She is also certified as a Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) and earned the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) Designation.
