Jade Gong and Anne Lewis Appointed to National PACE Association Committees

Health Dimensions Group (HDG) congratulates Jade Gong, vice president of strategy, and Anne Lewis, project manager, for recently being appointed to the National PACE® Association’s (NPA) Public Policy Committee and Education and Awards Committee respectively. 

NPA is an organization that aims to advance the efforts of Programs of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), a model centered on the belief that it is better for the well-being of seniors with chronic care needs and their families to be served in the community whenever possible.  

Where public policy is concerned, NPA works closely with government leaders and policymakers to educate and promote a reimbursement and regulatory environment that enables PACE programs to continue to provide high quality, individualized and innovative care. NPA also collaborates with other organizations in Washington, DC to advocate for strengthening our health care system’s ability to provide appropriate care and to support the efforts of families and friends to assist older Americans.

NPA is a strong advocate for professional development and recognition. The organization hosts three conferences each year, maintains several networking list serves for various professional staff within PACE sites, and produces other communications that help PACE programs learn from one another and from leading experts in the field.

 collaboration with the Veteran’s Administration to become a payor for PACE service for veterans who would otherwise go to a nursing home. She also served as the association’s expert on Medicaid payment methodologies and funding for health information technology and provided technical assistance to rural PACE programs. In her role at HDG, Gong assists health systems, long-term care organizations, and other health care entities to develop more integrated models of care for seniors that align with new incentives and opportunities resulting from health care reform.

Anne Lewis

Lewis’s 25-plus years of experience in health care includes more than twelve years at Billings Clinic in Montana, where she led the start-up of the first PACE program in Montana and served as the PACE program director. In her role at HDG, Lewis assists with all aspects of PACE, including operations for prospective and operational PACE programs, evaluating PACE feasibility, development of provider applications, and complete implementation assistance. In addition, she contributes to a variety of strategic and operational assessments of post-acute care service delivery for health systems and long-term care providers.
